Graduate Associate - Vendor Relations Analyst - Qatari Nationals


JOB SUMMARY

The associate provides administrative support and assistance while developing healthcare related skills towards a targeted position or area of specialty within Sidra.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES - As a Graduate Associate

Performs duties as assigned by the manager of the assigned department and the Talent Development specialist.
Receives training in several different sections within the assigned departments to learn and understand the processes within.
Develops knowledge and resources regarding Healthcare in the State of Qatar and in Health laws and regulations pertaining to the region.
Requires to conduct new studies under the direction of the assigned department manager and present findings to the department.
Works with other team members to develop new skills and gains knowledge on various processes of the department.
Keeps abreast of new developments in Qatar and the GCC Healthcare sectors.
Prioritizes and organizes work to meet established deadlines.
Assists in the collection and dissemination of data as requested.
Provides assistance in the implementation of new initiatives adopted by Sidra.
Assists with the development of policies, procedures and documentation as required.
Demonstrates teamwork by working proactively with other team members.
Follows up on activities in the absence of the reporting officer and may attend meetings on his/her behalf.
Completions all Mandatory Education and Training (METs) as per the requirements stipulated by Sidra/ HR Branch.
Takes ownership for meeting regularly with their Performance Coach and identifying any additional career objectives based on interest and/or work skills.
Circulates a quarterly “Feedback form” to the Performance Coaches and the Development Support People, and uses the same as performance evidence for annual and midyear reviews.
Works with the Performance Coach/line manager to provide business justification for any amendments to the development program or training schedule.
Demonstrates willingness to learn and grow throughout the program, including completing any tasks assigned by their Performance Coach or by the HR Branch.
Upon completion of 1 year, the graduate will move to the home unit and perform the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities as a FTE

Prioritizes purchase orders to decide which requires urgent attention, thereby supporting the SCM operations.
Builds strategic relationships with our suppliers, ensuring structured post-award operations is in place and the suppliers are appropriately engaged to ensure both Materials Management and End-user Departments get the best from these.
Responsible for monitoring the performance of suppliers in relation to key performance indicators and delivery of items. S/he will engage with the Materials Management team to obtain regular feedback from users of the services, and work with suppliers on continual service improvement plans based on this feedback.
As part of the performance monitoring function this role will undertake performance benchmarking and will work with all parties to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Responsible for managing the process for major incident reviews to ensure suppliers learn lessons and improve their services following issues.
Works closely with Procurement to manage the forward plan of contract procurement and renewal.
Works with suppliers and Procurement Management to provide further value and opportunities for working in partnership with suppliers to deliver the outcomes of the Procurement strategy.
Undertakes any other duties that may reasonably be requested appropriate to the level of responsibilities of the role.
Completes follow up and confirms delivery dates with Vendors for all goods purchase orders.
Supports customs and logistics team with any other duties.
Escalates vendor performance to Supply Chain Operations (Customers & Supplier Relations) with poor performance or problematic vendors.
Captures data via Lawson and reports accordingly on vendor Management performance.
Develops Training material.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or risk management

Experience

Up to 1 year of Post-graduate experience.
