Description

Invoice Management:

  1. Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure that invoices are approved and correctly coded.
  3. Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  1. Assist in the preparation and processing of accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Reconcile outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers.
  3. Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment collections.

Bank Reconciliations:

  1. Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and consistent records.
  2. Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with the bank and internal records.

Financial Reporting:

  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  2. Support the preparation of year-end financial statements.
  3. Help in tracking financial performance and budgetary control.

Data Entry & Record Keeping:

  1. Enter financial data into accounting software.
  2. Maintain organized files for all financial records and documents.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Payroll Assistance:

  1. Support the payroll process by providing necessary financial data and information.
  2. Assist in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  1. A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  1. Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role (5-7 years preferred).
