Assignment period: 6 Months


This internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their bachelor’s in mechanical engineering exposure to assignments within the HVAC industry. During the internship, you will have access to sales ad application teams, leaders, and have opportunities to network throughout the company.


Responsibilities:

• Specific internship responsibilities will vary based on your assignment. This internship project is based on Services; the activities expected in this role are: o Challenge traditional HVAC solutions and design innovative energy saving solutions that utilize all Trane solutions including heating and cooling, where applicable

o Prepare and help sales team present the value proposition of a solution to customers.

o Conduct a comparative analysis between Trane’s products and competitors.

o Incorporate controls into HVAC solutions to optimize efficiency and demonstrate it in TBA tools.

• During your time in the internship program, you will be expected to demonstrate the following:

o Zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences; regularly seeking and capitalizing on learning opportunities; quickly assimilating and applying new information.

o Proficiency in engineering.

o Understanding of HVAC principles. o Understanding of quotations preparations and cost estimations. o Familiarity with data analysis.

o Capacity to work effectively within a team and to collaborate with the team members (sales and fulfilment).

o Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

o Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

• Exhibiting passion and interest on developing and expanding knowledge on HVAC systems

• Pursuing a BS/BA Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0

• Minimum Work Experience: Junior year status – completed at least one previous internship or relevant work experience.
