Description

  1. Basic understanding of recycling operations and construction materials
  2. Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) is an advantage
  3. Understanding of engineering principles related to plant and site operations
  4. Support the implementation of operational improvement initiatives and product diversification strategies under guidance.
  5. Assist in monitoring industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to recycling operations.
  6. Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the quality of recycled materials in alignment with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
  7. Comply with quality, health & safety, information security, and business continuity policies.
  8. Assist in supervising subcontractor operations at recycling sites to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  9. Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and documentation to ensure compliance with QCS and relevant standards.
  10. Support the monitoring of heavy machinery operations (dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks) to ensure safe and efficient usage.
  11. Assist in conducting routine equipment inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
  12. Support enforcement of health, safety, and environmental procedures among employees, contractors, and visitors.
  13. Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
  14. Monitor material flow, production levels, and resource utilization to support uninterrupted operations.
  15. Prepare periodic operational reports on site activities, quality results, and subcontractor performance for review by the Recycling Operations Manager.
  16. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.
  17. Assist in coordination with government entities for environmental compliance, permits, and inspections.
  18. Support engagement with research institutions and technical partners for innovation in recycling methods and technologies.
  19. Demonstrate professionalism, commitment, and a strong learning attitude to support departmental objectives.
  20. Actively participate in training, mentoring, and on-the-job development programs as part of Qatarization initiatives.
  21. Support team collaboration and knowledge sharing across sites.
  22. Perform any other relevant duties as assigned in accordance with business needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Diploma, advanced diploma, or bachelors in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related discipline) is preferred.
  2. 0–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office tools
  4. Good command of English & Arabic is preferred.
